I’m Scott Bottoms, and I’m running for Governor because I’ve seen our great state buckle under reckless spending, rising crime, and failing schools—while out-of-touch elites push mandates that threaten our freedoms and sabotage our economy. Enough is enough. I’ll bring real solutions and full transparency through the Colorado D.O.G.E., so you know exactly where your tax dollars go.
I’ll stand with parents demanding honest education, protect our children’s future, and support small businesses against excessive regulations. Colorado deserves leadership that delivers results, not empty promises—and I’m asking for your support to return our state to the people.
Now, in his second term, he is fighting for the values that make our state strong. A dedicated Coloradan, he has served as Lead Pastor of Church at Briargate in Colorado Springs for nearly 13 years, building community and offering steady guidance. Before that, he ministered in Strasburg and Rocky Ford, deepening his roots across rural and urban Colorado.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (2002), a Master of Arts in Urban and Intercultural Ministries (2006), and a Doctorate of Ministry in Intercultural Spiritual Leadership (2011). A U.S. Navy veteran with eight years of service, Dr. Bottoms brings a patriot’s discipline to his work for Colorado families.
His leadership shines beyond the pulpit, with roles on executive boards for the Assemblies of God, Nelson University, and Strong Cross Ministries, where he chaired Sarah’s Home to support vulnerable Coloradans.
Married to his wife, Linda, for 34 years, they’ve raised three children, welcomed two daughters-in-law, and cherish three grandchildren—all part of their Colorado story.
